This notice applies to the MicrowiseAI websites: microwiseai.com (including /blog), docs.ist.microwiseai.com and docs.glpkg.microwiseai.com.

Analytics we use​

We use three analytics services to understand how our sites are used and to improve them:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.) — page views, navigation between pages, referrer, approximate location (country/city derived from IP; Google does not store full IP addresses), device, browser and operating system, and simple interaction events such as button clicks.
  • Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) — the same kind of usage data plus heatmaps and session replays (mouse movement, clicks and scrolling) so we can see where pages are confusing. Text typed into form fields is masked by default and not recorded.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc.) — page views, referrer, browser and page load performance. It does not use cookies or local storage.

Google Analytics and Clarity set cookies (or similar local storage) to recognise a returning browser, e.g. _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics) and _clck, _clsk (Clarity). Clarity may also set Microsoft cookies on Microsoft's own domains (e.g. MUID on clarity.ms and bing.com). We do not use this data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not try to identify you personally.

Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland​

For visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies are off by default: Google Analytics runs in consent mode with storage denied (cookieless, aggregated measurement only) and Clarity runs without cookies.

Comments on docs.glpkg.microwiseai.com​

Pages on docs.glpkg.microwiseai.com embed a comments section powered by giscus, which loads from giscus.app and GitHub and stores comments in GitHub Discussions. If you sign in with GitHub to comment, GitHub's Privacy Statement applies to that data.

Retention​

Google Analytics event data is kept for no longer than 14 months. Microsoft Clarity keeps recordings for up to 30 days and aggregated heatmaps for up to 13 months.
